Elder

Mike  joined the Elder Team in 2015. He is husband to Lynne for over forty-five years.  They have five adult children, twenty one grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mike & Lynne have been a part of Calvary Chapels since 1991.  Together they have been home group leaders, marriage and family counselors, taught parenting classes, as well as spoken  at marriage and parenting seminars  and conferences.
Mike is also a retired general contractor and enjoys many outdoor actives like surfing, cycling and pickleball.

Elder

Gibbes joined the Elder Team in 2018. He and his wife, Chris, have been married since 1985 and have four children and 7 grandchildren.  Gibbes and Chris began attending a Calvary Chapel in Coos Bay, Oregon, shortly after they were married, and have been involved with Calvary Chapel ever since.  Gibbes has been involved in church leadership, worship ministry, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and they led a home bible study for five years in Satellite Beach.  Gibbes is currently working at Verizon as a Telecom Tech and enjoys surfing, playing music and adventures with his wife.

Elder

John Marcinka joined the elder team in 2022.
He is husband to Patty and the father of two daughters and four grandchildren.
He has a heart for kids ministry and men’s discipling classes.
John currently works at Leonardo DRS. And in his free time likes to free dive and fish.
