Joseph joined the Calvary Surfside team as Assistant Pastor in 2022.  He is a passionate apologist here on the Space Coast and serves as a Chapter Director for Space Coast Stand to Reason (STR Outpost) and the Space Coast Chapter of Reasonable Faith Ministries.   Joseph is the founder and president of Overland Apologetics, Inc.  This 501c3 is a brand new ministry which combines vehicle camping “off the grid” with compelling sessions to help believers understand and defend the Christian world view.

Joseph is a husband, homeschool dad and father of five.  In 1990, he received his last USAF orders to Patrick AFB (now Patrick SFB) and he’s remained in Brevard ever since.  Joseph met his wife, Julie, in 1996 and they were married the following year.
